MEGGIE BAKER

The South Carolina State Society is pleased to announce that Meggie Baker will represent South Carolina at the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Meggie is a native of Florence, South Carolina, and is a senior at The George Washington University majoring in criminal justice. At GWU, Meggie has served as executive vice-president of the Panhellenic Association, a Peer Leadership Mentor, and an active member of her sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma. She currently serves as General Counsel for the Joint Elections Committee and as a student coordinator for the Student Activities Center. Meggie enjoys dance, musical theater, and choreography. At the present time, she interns at the D. C. Superior Court. Her future plans include attending law school. Meggie is the daughter of Mrs. Barringer Fox Wingard, Jr. and Gordon Badger Baker, Jr.
